TTVguideTX project

Two Webinars on Kidney Transplant Care and Clinical Trial Ethics

The European Kidney Patients’ Federation (EKPF) and the TTVguideTX project were pleased to host two successful webinars in February 2025. These sessions delved into cutting-edge developments in kidney transplant care and explored the ethical challenges involved in clinical research, drawing interest from both kidney patients and the wider public.

TTVguideTX is an EU-funded initiative aimed at improving kidney transplant care through innovative, personalised medicine. The project uses Torque Teno Virus (TTV) as a biomarker to monitor immune system activity and guide immunosuppressive therapy, with the goal of reducing infection risks and graft rejection.
